# Use contacts and agenda

Find contacts, organize groups, and check calendars in WebAgent.

## Find and contact someone

1. Open **Contacts** from the navigation in either layout. Search by name, or choose an available frequent or previous contact.
2. Select a contact to open its actions. Choose an available call, mobile call, instant message, or email action.
3. Open the contact card for more details, including other available phone or email endpoints.

The actions and phone numbers shown depend on your connected directory and contact services. A contact without a usable business or mobile phone number may show **No Valid Endpoints** for calling or transferring.

## Organize contact groups

1. Find a contact and open its **More options** menu.
2. Select **Add to new group** or **Add to group**, as available.
3. Name or select the group and save it.

To remove a contact, open the group's contact entry and choose **Remove from group**. **Frequent Transfers** lists contacts you transfer to often when WebAgent history is available; it is generated from history, not from your manually created groups.

Personal contact groups and memberships can follow you between browsers using the same WebAgentService and settings database when your administrator enables central storage. Otherwise, they remain in the current browser and can be lost when its data is cleared. Loading contacts can import groups and memberships from the current browser when the corresponding server value is absent; existing server values take precedence. This does not merge contact lists from every browser. Before changing browsers or clearing data, see [Configure WebAgent user settings storage](https://github.com/AnywhereNow/atlas-docs/tree/main/channels-integrations/webagent/configure-webagent-user-settings-storage/README.md) for selective import guidance, and verify the required groups and memberships in another browser before clearing the original browser's data.

## Check an agenda

Open **Agenda** to view your calendar. Switch between the available day, month, and list views; use the previous, next, and today controls to navigate dates.

To view a contact's agenda, find the contact, open **More options**, and select **See Agenda**. In the new layout, the selected contact's header also has an **Open agenda** calendar button that opens the calendar alongside the contact details. This requires permission to view that person's busy information. If the option or details are missing, ask your administrator whether calendar access is enabled.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://atlas.anywhere.now/use/handle-conversations/webagent/use-contacts-and-agenda.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
