# Sign in and manage your profile

Sign in to WebAgent and manage your UCC profile state.

Use WebAgent to sign in to your contact center environment and manage your Unified Contact Center (UCC) profile state.

## Sign in to WebAgent

1. Open the [WebAgent URL](#webagent-urls) for your environment.
2. Sign in with the account your organization uses for WebAgent.
3. If your sign-in flow opens a separate authentication window, allow browser pop-ups for the WebAgent site.
4. Wait until WebAgent finishes loading.

WebAgent is ready for dialogue handling after you are signed in and your required profile state is active.

## WebAgent URLs

Use the URL for your environment's connect model, region, and, for Connect, instance. Your AnywhereNow representative confirms which URL to use.

{% hint style="info" %}
The URLs below are for users signing in to WebAgent. They are not administrator-consent URLs.

## Sign in to a UCC

Depending on your configuration, you may need to sign in to a UCC before you can receive dialogues for that UCC.

1. Open **MePerson** in the upper-right corner of the classic layout or the lower-left corner of the new layout.
2. Open your profile or UCC state controls.
3. Change your state to sign in to the relevant UCC.

If a UCC state control is not available, your profile or permissions may not allow manual sign-in and sign-out.

## Change presence or reason code

Open **MePerson** in the upper-right corner of the classic layout or the lower-left corner of the new layout, then choose the available presence or reason-code state for your work. The choices depend on your UCC configuration. Your Microsoft Teams presence might be updated alongside your reason code if your organization has configured presence synchronization; otherwise, you may need to manage your Teams presence separately.

## Profile states

Your profile state determines whether WebAgent can route dialogues to you for a UCC.

| State    | What it means                                         |
| -------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| Active | You are signed in and available for the UCC. |
| Inactive | You are signed out of the UCC. |
| Informal | You do not manually sign in or sign out for that UCC. |

## Last agent in skill warning

If you are the last available agent for a skill, WebAgent may show a confirmation, warning, or error when you try to sign out or change your state. Follow the message shown in WebAgent. If you cannot change your state, contact your supervisor.

## Browser support

Use a browser supported by your organization for WebAgent.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://atlas.anywhere.now/use/handle-conversations/webagent/sign-in-and-profile.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
