## UCC configuration settings

Your organization can configure one or more UCCs for Snapper. In user-facing settings, the UCC configuration can include a UCC name, a host or URL field for the AnywhereNow server, a secure connection toggle, and auto-discovery.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Current source uses both **UCC Host** and **UCC Url** in different places. This page avoids one universal label until the exact product label is confirmed.
{% endhint %}

Advanced UCC service endpoints are administrator setup material and are not documented here as user steps.

## Recording settings

Recording settings appear only when your organization has enabled the related features.

### Audio recording

| Setting                   | Value  | Default | Description                                  |
| ------------------------- | ------ | ------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| **Enable Audio Controls** | on/off | off | Activate audio recording controls for calls. |

### Screen recording

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Unsupported SharePoint uploads**

Snapper reached End of Support Maintenance (EoSM) in October 2023. Snapper screen recording does not support Microsoft Entra ID app + certificate authentication for SharePoint connections. Microsoft retired legacy Client ID/Secret authentication in April 2026. Therefore, affected Snapper-to-SharePoint upload scenarios are not supported.

Because Call Property Service is being deprecated alongside Snapper, screen recording links should no longer be expected to appear in the contact timeline, reporting data, or contact center history.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://atlas.anywhere.now/use/existing-dialogue-cloud-neo-connect-apps/snapper/snapper-settings-reference.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
