Use unattended installation when Snapper must be deployed with predefined settings. Every GUI setting, including some hidden settings, can be provided as an installation parameter, but only one UCC can be configured during unattended installation. {% hint style="info" %} UCC autodiscovery can add more UCCs after the unattended installation when the environment supports it. {% endhint %} {% hint style="warning" %} Do not publish real passwords, app secrets, tenant IDs, customer URLs, or customer-specific values in deployment examples or scripts. {% endhint %} ## Command examples Before unattended deployment, install the runtimes required by the selected Snapper build on every target device. Follow [Install Snapper prerequisites](/platform-administration/maintenance-mode-applications/snapper/install-snapper.md#before-you-begin) for the .NET 10.0 build request and both matching-architecture runtimes. Screen recording {% hint style="warning" %} Snapper reached End of Support Maintenance (EoSM) in October 2023. Snapper screen recording does not support Microsoft Entra ID app + certificate authentication for SharePoint connections. Microsoft retired legacy Client ID/Secret authentication in April 2026. Therefore, affected Snapper-to-SharePoint upload scenarios are not supported. ## Hide or disable settings during installation To make a setting read-only or invisible, append `ENABLED` or `VISIBLE` to the setting name and set the value to `false`.
