# Configure WebAgent Direct Dialer and DTMF

Configure WebAgent Direct Dialer DTMF using the documented DC2023.03-or-higher UCC procedure and its licensing prerequisites.

{% hint style="warning" %}
The WebAgent dialpad DTMF feature is described in DC2025.01. This guide uses the DC2023.03-or-higher UCC configuration path and requires an Enterprise license or higher. EnableDtmfInDirectDialerSession controls tones sent to the callee in a Direct Dialer conversation; it is not EnableDTMFToInitiator.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Note

An **Enterprise license** or higher is required to access these features.
{% endhint %}

**DC2023.03 or higher**

Before you can use the DCI feature in the WebAgent, you need to setup the UCC for DCI.

### Configure UCC Settings

1. Open the UCC Config page on SharePoint
2. Open the Settings list (not the Plugin Settings)
3. Add the following settings:

| Key                | Value | Scope  |
| ------------------ | ----- | ------ |
| UseOutboundCalling | True  | Dialer |

{% hint style="success" %}
Tip

(Optional) Add setting EnableDtmfInDirectDialerSession to settings list for DTMF tones to be send to the contact.
{% endhint %}

**EnableDtmfInDirectDialerSession**

Enables or disables the option to send DTMF tones to the callee with a Direct Dialer conversation. Useful when the agent calls a system which used DTMF for navigation.

**TRUE** = Send Agent DTMF to Customer in Direct Dialer Session.

**FALSE** = Don’t send Agent DTMF to Customer.

Default: FALSE

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://atlas.anywhere.now/channels-integrations/webagent/configure-direct-dialer-dtmf.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
