# Administer Dialogue AI Assist

Set up and administer Dialogue AI Assist for supported WebAgent chat and voice scenarios.

Dialogue AI Assist provides assistant functionality for supported WebAgent scenarios. Use this administration section to prepare the required services, configure the environment-specific connection values, set up Deepdesk single sign-on, expose the assistant in WebAgent, and manage Deepdesk administration for Dialogue AI Assist.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Use Dialogue AI Assist only for the channel types approved for the customer environment. Dialogue AI Assist is used with supported WebChat and voice scenarios in WebAgent. Do not enable the assistant for Email, WhatsApp, SMS, or Generic API scenarios unless the approved enablement process includes that channel for the UCC.
{% endhint %}

## Administration sequence

Follow this sequence when preparing a UCC for Dialogue AI Assist:

1. Verify entitlement, commercial prerequisites, and the request path for the customer environment.
2. Verify that WebAgent, the relevant text-channel or voice prerequisites, and the Dialogue AI Assist environment are available.
3. Configure the environment-specific connection settings in UCC `PluginSettings` on SharePoint.
4. For voice scenarios, connect the Dialogue Studio flow to the Dialogue AI Assist event and transcript configuration.
5. Enable the assistant widget in the approved WebAgent layout.
6. Configure Deepdesk users, assistants, Knowledge Bases, and profiles.
7. Validate the setup with controlled WebAgent chat or voice tests before production use.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://atlas.anywhere.now/channels-integrations/dialogue-ai-assist.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
