# Set up Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud

Set up Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud and grant tenant consent.

Use this page to prepare Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud before first use.

## Prerequisites

* A valid trial or production license for Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud.
* A configured and operational Dialogue Cloud environment.
* A working WebAgent setup for the same environment.
* Permission for the Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud application to access the customer's Microsoft resources.
* A Microsoft administrator who can grant organization consent.

## Obtain a license

If the customer does not have an Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud license, contact AnywhereNow or the partner assisting with deployment to request a trial or production license.

After a valid license is available, licensed users can access:

```
https://dr-attendant.anywhere365.io/
```

If a license screen appears after sign-in, confirm that the user has a valid license and that registration or administration has completed successfully.

## Confirm Dialogue Cloud and WebAgent operation

Attendant Console for Dialogue Cloud shares configuration with WebAgent. Confirm that WebAgent works for the same user before troubleshooting Attendant Console access.

## Temporary ACS service principal requirement

During consent, the application requests a shared permission set that includes Azure Communication Services. If the ACS service principal is not present in the tenant, Microsoft Entra ID can stop the consent flow before the consent screen appears.

Global AppId:

```
1fd5118e-2576-4263-8130-9503064c837a
```

The consent failure can include:

```
AADSTS650052: The app is trying to access Azure Communication Services but your tenant lacks a service principal
```

This is a known product limitation, not a customer configuration error.

### Create the service principal

```powershell
Connect-MgGraph -Scopes "Application.ReadWrite.All", "Directory.ReadWrite.All"
New-MgServicePrincipal -AppId "1fd5118e-2576-4263-8130-9503064c837a"
```

Optional verification:

```powershell
Get-MgServicePrincipal -Filter "AppId eq '1fd5118e-2576-4263-8130-9503064c837a'"
```

After the service principal exists, run the consent URL again and confirm that the consent screen appears.

## Grant organization consent

Use this consent URL:

```
https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/adminconsent?client_id=b49e1919-ca4f-4a60-bae4-24bb7b231f97
```

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://atlas.anywhere.now/attendant-console/set-up-and-administer/setup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
